Ho man. HOOOOO MAN. After almost a year of waiting, I FINALLY got to see the Black Tetsusaiga "episode" of Inu-Yasha aired at the Rumic World exhibit. It was shot on a cell phone camera, was hard to see and hear, and had no subtitles. But you know what?

I don't even care.

Holy shit, that was AWESOME. I don't really mean the episode itself. It was washed out, I could only catch like a third of the dialogue, and most of the episode was spent with people standing around giving commentary. But none of that mattered to me. Just seeing this extra bit of Inu-Yasha was awesome. It really made my day.

Of course, it also kicked my fandom back into gear so now I feel compelled to whip together a Byakuya outfit before Animenext when I still have Adiane's corset to take apart, take in, and reassemble and her entire tail to make before then and also I have a job but I DON'T CARE I WILL TOTALLY GET BOTH OF THEM DONE (This may explain to you why I haven't had time for fanart/doujining). It helps that I coincidentally already have a suitable pair of thick hakama I can just temporarily gather for Byakuya, plus I have a suitable juban and his coat and top shouldn't take more than an afternoon.

Incidentally, if any of you guys happen to be going to 'Next, give me a shout-out! I hope to see you there! (Especially Saturday; my Adiane (from TTGL in case you are unaware) costume is totally bitchin' with all sorts of appliqué work and lace and hand hemming and a corset from scratch that I will totally be flaunting the shit out of.)
